The SASS office organizes a variety of violence risk reduction andprevention education programs, in addition to training students asSexual Harassment and Rape Prevention (SHARP) peer educators tofacilitate small group discussions in residence halls, withfraternities, sororities, cultural groups and other studentorganizations. SASS also advises and consults with student groupsworking to end violence on campus, such as Men Acting for Change(MAC), a group dedicated to promoting positive masculinity andmen’s antiviolence work, and Saturday Night, a studentpublication of narratives, poetry, commentary, and imagesrepresenting students’ and their support networks’ diverseexperiences with sexual violence.
